about me

i am a queer, taiwanese-american creative.

my passion lies at the intersection of music and cognitive sciences, specifically computational musicology which utilizes tools like python and r to uncover the underlying intricacies of musical perception. my current corpus study uses computational methods to explore the differences in timbre and tonality in k-pop and western music.

beyond my academic and musical interests, i am passionate about youth leadership & activism. my current volunteer engagement role at the honeycomb project allows me to elevate youth voices and support communities in need in the chicago area.

it is my mission to leverage my diverse academic background to make a positive impact on my community!
